The FoodlineWeb suite of databases are a unique source of information for the food and drinks industry. They include Market, Science and News and are populated by our team of specialists who abstract 1,800 Science, 800 Market and 750 News records every month, taken from about 400 key industry journals, as well as books and patents. The abstracts are fully searchable and there is a link to purchase the full text of most articles. In case of patents, there is a link through to the original document.

FoodlineWeb users have a choice of either a simple search, or a more advanced search which employs our 'smart search' functionality, allowing more detailed parameters to be set. The thesaurus is in an easy-to-use format to help users carry out broader or more focused searches, and individual users can store saved searches, set preferences and set up email alerts.

The own-brand area of the FoodlineWeb Market database includes information on new products launched by the major supermarkets: photographs are also included for selected products.

Leatherhead Food Research Members get complimentary access to the past six months of FoodlineWeb Science information through FoodlineWeb Science Now, accessed via the Science tab.
